This is a hearty, spicy , "stick -to-your-ribs winter soup.
This recipe is from an old friend of mine, Maria.
Broth is onion, celery and carrots (the more betocarotene,the better), leek, some beef and of course,chicken.
The "quadretti" the most savory part is made of semolina, butter, eggs, parmigiano cheese, pepper and lots of grated nutmeg.
It is filling and delicious!
